## Read right, in each language

Numbers, dates, money, abbreviations and units are spoken the way a native reader says them. The Vietnamese rules are in; English is in the works. On screen you still see the original text.

## Type a sentence, see what the voice says

This is LeziBook's real rule set, running in your browser. In the app it runs on the phone, offline.

## Voices that live on your phone

Download a voice once over Wi-Fi, preview it first, then listen offline. Until then, the app uses the phone's own voice.

- **Eleven natural AI voices** — Men and women, pausing the way a person reads. The app checks that your phone can run them before it offers the download.
- **A light voice for every phone** — About 60 MB, smooth even on older phones. Every voice has a sample to hear first.
- **One voice for the app, another for any book** — Change the voice or the speed, 0.5× to 2.0×, right in the reader; it starts with the next sentence.

### Languages

- **Vietnamese** — In 1.0: downloaded voices; numbers, dates, money and abbreviations read right.
- **English** — Next: its own reading rules and on-device English voices are in testing.
- **Other languages** — Later: read with the phone's own voice first.

## No book yet? Open the Store

Close to a thousand free books, picked with care and free to share. Tap Listen now and the book is in your library, already reading.

- **Vietnamese classics** — Truyện Kiều, Tắt đèn, Lão Hạc, Hai đứa trẻ and more, out of copyright, from Wikisource.
- **English classics** — More than 900 titles from Standard Ebooks in clean editions, read with the phone's English voice.
- **LeziBook originals** — Stories LeziBook publishes, clearly marked when written with AI. A Listen in one sitting shelf holds the ones under an hour.

## Four steps to listening

- **Open a file you own** — EPUB, PDF with a text layer, TXT, DOCX or Markdown. Pick it from your phone, or share it from Gmail, Drive or a chat app.
- **Chapters, ready made** — From the contents, the PDF bookmarks or the headings in the file. Pictures, tables and footnotes stay in place.
- **Press play** — The voice starts in under two seconds and the sentence being read lights up.
- **Pocket the phone** — It keeps reading with the screen off. Control it from the lock screen and headphones.

## More than listening

- **The sentence lights up** — The page follows the voice. Tap any sentence to read from there.
- **A sleep timer** — 15, 30 or 60 minutes, or the end of the chapter. It fades out, stops at a sentence and remembers it.
- **Your own pronunciations** — Pick a word in the book, type how it is read, hear it. For one book or every book in that language.
- **Pictures, tables and footnotes** — Books show their pictures, tables and headings. Tap a footnote number to read it without losing your place.
- **Marks and notes** — Select text, colour it, add a note. The list opens each mark in place.
- **Move to a new phone** — Export one backup file with your books, marks, pronunciations and progress; open it on the new phone and it is all back.
- **Read only, no audio** — Hide the player, read full screen, turn pages with the volume keys on Android.
- **Report a misread** — One tap sends that sentence, after you check it, so it reads right next time.

## Your listening habit

How long you listened each day, how many days in a row, and how long each book has left. Every number stays on your phone.

- **Week, month, year** — Listening and reading time per day, compared with the period before.
- **A daily goal and a streak** — Set the minutes you want and watch today's ring fill.
- **Every book** — How far you are, how long is left, which ones you finished.

## Light, Dark or Sepia

One choice for the whole app. Literata type, with size, line spacing and margins set by you.

## Your books stay on your phone

- **On the device by default** — Book files, text and audio stay on the phone unless you send something yourself: a misread sentence you report (kept up to 180 days, then deleted), or later the AI text clean-up you switch on (each passage processed, then discarded). Backup files go where you put them.
- **No account needed** — Open the app and start. If you sign in to sync devices, the server keeps titles, authors and progress, never the book itself.
- **Works offline** — Download a voice once over Wi-Fi, then listen even in airplane mode.
- **Anonymous stats you can turn off** — Never a book title, a file name or a single line of text.

## Listening to your books is free

A paid plan comes later for those who want more. Listening to your own books is never locked.

- Import EPUB, PDF, TXT, DOCX and Markdown, as many books as you like
- Vietnamese voices downloaded to your phone, offline

- Coming, paid: AI text clean-up and sync across devices

## Questions

### What files does LeziBook open?

EPUB, PDF with a text layer, TXT, DOCX and Markdown. The app splits chapters from the contents, the PDF bookmarks or the headings in the file, and keeps pictures, tables and footnotes. Scanned PDFs that are only images are not supported yet.

### Do the voices sound natural?

There are eleven Vietnamese AI voices, men and women, close to a person reading; they need a recent phone, and the app checks yours before it offers the download. Every phone can use a light voice of about 60 MB. Each voice has a sample. With no voice downloaded, the app uses the phone's own Vietnamese voice and shows how to install one if it is missing.

### What is in the Store?

Vietnamese classics out of copyright (from Wikisource), more than 900 English classics from Standard Ebooks, and stories LeziBook publishes, clearly marked when written with AI. All free; one tap puts a book in your library.

### Are my books sent anywhere?

Not by default. Opening the file, normalizing the text and making the voice all happen on the phone. There are two exceptions, both your choice. One is Report a misread: when you press Send, exactly the one sentence you previewed goes to the server, kept up to 180 days to fix the reading, then deleted. The other is AI text clean-up (paid, coming, switched on per book by you): each passage is sent for processing and discarded at once; the server keeps nothing. Backup files go only where you put them. Anonymous stats never contain book content, and you can turn them off in Settings.

### Do I lose my books and progress on a new phone?

No. In Settings, export one backup file with your books, covers, marks, pronunciations, progress and stats, send it to the new phone and open it with LeziBook. No account needed, and the file never passes through LeziBook's server.

### Can I listen to books I bought on Kindle?

No. DRM-protected books are refused with an explanation, and LeziBook has no way to remove DRM. DRM-free books you bought, public-domain books and your own documents work.

### Does it work offline?

Yes. After you download a voice over Wi-Fi everything runs offline: reading, listening, sentence highlight and stats. Only the Store needs a connection while it adds a book.

### Is the app in English?

The interface is in Vietnamese and English, following the phone's language or your choice in Settings. Version 1.0 reads Vietnamese books with LeziBook's voices; English books are read with the phone's English voice. English reading rules and on-device English voices come next.

### When is it on the App Store and Google Play?

Google Play first, iPhone after. LeziBook is being tested on real phones. Leave your email at the bottom of the page and we send exactly one email when the app is in the store.
