Copyright policy
LeziBook’s Store only holds books we are allowed to publish. This page says what is in the Store, how to report a copyright issue, and how report data is handled.
What the Store contains
- Books whose copyright has expired (public domain).
- Books released under a Creative Commons licence that allows sharing.
- LeziBook originals; the book page says so when AI helped write them.
- AI translations made by LeziBook of public-domain books; the book page says it is an AI translation and names the original.
Each book page lists its source and licence.
Report a copyright issue
Are you a rights holder or their agent, or a reader who found a book that should not be in the Store, or one with the wrong author, translator or source? Open the book page in the Store and choose "Report a copyright issue", or email [email protected].

How we handle a report
Reports do not hide a book automatically. A person reads each report; if needed, that person hides the book from the Store and replies to you by email.
What is kept, and for how long
- Your email: deleted 12 months after the report is closed.
- Your description: kept for at most 2 years after we receive it.
- Backups: deleted data can stay in a backup for up to 30 days longer.
We do not share reports with third parties. The only exception is a Telegram notice to the operator that carries the report number, the book id, the sender’s role and an admin link, and no personal data.
